I had heard about this a while back and finally got to reading it in December on the last days of 2025. It was such a delightful and thrilling short horror story that is set during the time of drive in movie theatre and the horror movies of William Castle and Vincent Price. We follow June and her friends in their rural Indiana town going to a spooktacular event at their drive in, unaware that a creature has been unleashed and is causing terror to feed its bloodlust. June as we learn has a special ability to see the future and the past, when things start going south June finds she somehow is able to sense the creature. This was good and if you like old horror movies and supernatural creatures this is for you. I only gave it 4.75 because the ending was bittersweet to me but otherwise this was a delightful surprise.
